Last week, September 6th, we saw Jesus teach that God’s growing kingdom is more valuable than anything. This week, we will watch as Jesus teaches that He came to seek and to save what was lost.

La semana pasada, el 6 de septiembre, vimos a Jesús enseñar que el reino creciente de Dios es más valioso que nada. Esta semana, veremos como Jesús enseña que vino a buscar y a salvar lo que se había perdido.

Our kids ministry is here to help your children

(babies-6th grade) have fun learning about Jesus at their own level, in a way they can understand. We want all children to know Jesus in a personal way and have a growing relationship with Him. Our well trained volunteers work every weekend to make sure your kids feel loved, have fun, and encounter God.

We know how important it is to make sure your children are safe, protected, and healthy with us. You’ll feel comfortable checking your kids in each week with our secure check-in process. A friendly volunteer at the kids check-in area can help you navigate our security system on your first visit. All of our teachers love kids and pass our screening process, which includes thorough background checks. Our goal is for you to enjoy the weekend worship celebration service, knowing your kids are secure while having a great time.

Del Sol Kids is here to encourage children to take their next step with Jesus.  We have created places where your child can have fun while learning about God during the weekend worship services.

Nursery and preschool kids are cared for in smaller groups by our trained, friendly, caring volunteers.  Preschoolers follow a structured time including crafts, Bible stories, songs, and snacks.

Elementary-aged kids are split by grade level groupings where they will experience age-appropriate, engaging Bible teaching that will challenged them and help them grow in their faith.

The goal of AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. 2 Timothy 2: 15. Clubbers learn that God is real, that He loves them and that He has expressed that love through Jesus Christ. They also learn how to apply the truths of the Bible to their daily lives. The program includes game time, handbook time for scripture understanding and memorization, and council time which includes a Bible message and missions emphasis. Our AWANA program will run from September through April. Classes are provided for 2 year olds through pre-kinders for parents attending Small Groups here at church and for parents who help in AWANA.

The purpose of Parent-Baby Dedication is for parents to make a commitment before the Lord and before our church family that they will raise their children in a Christian home, committing to teach their children Christian values and to model behavior that honors the Lord. Our hope is that each child, when old enough, will make a decision to accept Christ as their personal Savior based on what has been modeled for them in their home and in our church.
