
Northeast Campus Pastor (part-time)
The Northeast Campus Pastor is responsible to embody & carry the culture of Del Sol leading & coaching campus staff, shepherding the congregation, and taking responsibility for growth, health, and alignment of the campus within the overall mission & direction of the whole church.
He will report directly to the Lead Pastor, and will closely relate to the other pastors & church staff.
This part-time position has much potential to become full-time as the campus grows. Consequently, bi-vocational candidates will gladly be considered.
What a strong candidate would look like:

A passion & sense of calling to serve at Del Sol for years to come, at least 4 years.

Spiritually mature, a devoted follower of Jesus who, along with his wife, is growing in Biblical knowledge and the ability to apply it in life.

Creative, inventive, and outward-focused, not afraid to prayerfully think of new strategies to reach non-believers around the campus.

Self-aware, self-starter who humbly demonstrates the Fruit of the Spirit & is a good steward of his God-given time, talents, spiritual gifts, and possessions.

A relational leader who gets along well with different people, and can communicate clearly & confidently whether in large groups or one-on-one.

In full alignment & support of Del Sol’s theology, vision, values, direction, and methodology.
Highly preferred qualifications:

Married at least 5 years, with grade-school age children.

Previous ministry leadership experience (3+ years) in a church or para-church organization.

Bachelor’s degree or higher from an accredited university or seminary.

Past military experience either as a veteran or within his family, or a strong heart to reach young military families who are a large part of Northeast El Paso.
