ADVENT DEVOTIONALS
As Advent begins, we’ve put together a devotional and a curated playlist on RightNow Media for our church. These teachings are a great way to prepare your heart and focus on Jesus throughout the season. You can find these available here!
CHRISTMAS WORSHIP & FAMILY MEETING
You're invited to the East campus on Wednesday, December 3 at 7:00 PM for a special time of worship, along with the opportunity for church members to af- firm the recommendations for next year’s budget & Church Council. Learn more about these important matters of family business here.
GIVING TREE
Our Christmas Giving Trees will be up this Sunday at all campuses! It’s one of our favorite traditions of the season because through this outreach you can buy a gift and give joy to children in need around the borderland. Please sign out a tag this Sunday & bring your gift back by Sunday, December 14.
DEL SOL YOUTH
There will be no Youth gathering (middle and high schoolers) on Wednesday, December 3 as we have our churchwide family meeting. Students are invited to join us with their parents for that evening, and we’ll be back on December 10!

BUENO CON EL DINERO: Dar sentido a los dólares y centavos
Parte 4:“PON A PRUEBA TU CONFIANZA”
25 de septiembre de 2022
Jesus calls the weary & burdened.
“Come to me, all you who are weary and burdened, and I will give you rest.”
Matthew 11:28 NIV
Jesus calls the struggling & sinful.
12 On hearing this, Jesus said, “It is not the healthy who need a doctor, but the sick. 13 But go and learn what this means: ‘I desire mercy, not sacrifice.’ For I have not come to call the righteous, but sinners.”
Matthew 9:12-13 NIV
Therefore, if anyone is in Christ, the new creation has come: The old has gone, the new is here!
2 Corinthians 5:17 NIV
WHAT HAPPENS WHEN WE COME TO JESUS?
1. We become more faithful.
Fixing our eyes on Jesus, the pioneer and perfecter of faith…
Hebrews 12:2a NIV
Consequently, faith comes from hearing the message, and the message is heard through the word about Christ.
Romans 10:17 NIV
2. We become more joyful.
“Today in the town of David a Savior has been born to you; he is the Messiah, the Lord.”
Luke 2:11 NIV
But the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, forbearance, kindness, goodness, faithfulness…
Galatians 5:22 NIV
3. We become more triumphant.
6 For to us a child is born, to us a son is given, and the government will be on his shoulders. And he will be called Wonderful Counselor, Mighty God, Everlasting Father, Prince of Peace. 7 Of the greatness of his government and peace there will be no end. He will reign on David’s throne and over his kingdom, establishing and upholding it with justice and righteousness from that time on and forever.
Isaiah 9:6-7 NIV
