Basic beliefs is a class for children in 1st – 6th grade who have recently accepted Christ and/or are awaiting baptism. This three-session class covers what it means to be a Christian, and what it looks like to be a member of the church. We also talk about the meaning of baptism and the Lord’s Supper. A parent needs to attend with each child.
All children should complete this class prior to being baptized.
This class is a parent class for those who would like to know how to lead their child to the most important decision in their life, accepting Christ as their personal Savior. We go over the ABCs of becoming a Christian and help parents know how to answer questions regarding what the Bible says about salvation.
WE ARE NOT CURRENTLY HAVING AWANA
Where: East Campus
Wednesdays: 6:30pm to 8:15pm
(2 years old- 6th grade)
The goal of AWANA (Approved Workmen Are Not Ashamed) is to reach boys and girls with the gospel of Christ and train them to serve Him. 2 Timothy 2: 15. Clubbers learn that God is real, that He loves them and that He has expressed that love through Jesus Christ. They also learn how to apply the truths of the Bible to their daily lives. The program includes game time, handbook time for scripture understanding and memorization, and council time which includes a Bible message and missions emphasis. Our AWANA program will run from September through April. Classes are provided for 2 year olds through pre-kinders for parents attending Small Groups here at church and for parents who help in AWANA.

The purpose of Parent-Baby Dedication is for parents to make a commitment before the Lord and before our church family that they will raise their children in a Christian home, committing to teach their children Christian values and to model behavior that honors the Lord. Our hope is that each child, when old enough, will make a decision to accept Christ as their personal Savior based on what has been modeled for them in their home and in our church.
If you are interested, please contact the children’s minister at your campus.
