CHILDCARE AVAILABLE FOR BABIES - KINDER
Del Sol family members, you’re invited to a special night of worship where we will celebrate the amazing things the Lord Jesus has done in & through our church this year – and affirm our Church Council members along with the annual budget for 2024. We will also share the vision for the merger of our Transmountain & Northeast campuses, as well as talk about what’s next for the Transmountain property.
Please read the info below about these important items of business, then come with a heart ready to worship Christ the Lord!
CHURCH COUNCIL
These Council members serve regularly at different church campuses but have a heart, vision, and concern for the whole church. According to our bylaws, they are affirmed annually by the members of the church to give spiritual oversight for the church. They oversee churchwide vision & strategy, make sure we stay on a biblical track, and care for individuals in the church.
Our Lead Pastor is accountable to these men who show the fruit of the Spirit listed in Galatians 5:22-23 and meet the biblical qualifications found in 1 Peter 5:1-2, 1 Timothy 5:17, and Titus 1:7. They also meet practical qualifications like being active in worship, small groups, and outreach.

CAMPUS MERGER
& PROPERTY SALE
After months of prayer our pastors, Church Council, and lead staff have unanimously agreed that God is leading us to merge the Transmountain & Northeast campuses together. The Transmountain congregation will meet there for the last time on Christmas Eve, then join with the Northeast campus on Sundays beginning in January 2024. Oscar Perez, our current Transmountain campus pastor, will become the pastor of the newly combined campus.
Through much prayer & discussion, our desire is to sell the Transmountain campus property to the El Paso Baptist Association, which would give them plenty of space to transform that property into a ministry center & church planting hub – impacting not only the city but even the whole state!
We have started talks with Associational leaders, who are also excited about this prospect. We believe that the Association of 80+ churches can do even greater things for God’s Kingdom with the property than we could do as one church.
Please join us on the evening of Wednesday, Dec. 6 to hear even more about this exciting opportunity from the Lord!
