MISSING PEACE

Part 2: Finding Peace In Relationships

“Glory to God in highest heaven, and peace on earth to those with whom God is pleased.”

Luke 2:14 NLT

Peace is not found in the absence of problems but in the presence of God.

Being offended is inevitable. Living offended is a choice.

14 Bless those who persecute you; bless and do not curse. 15 Rejoice with those who rejoice; mourn with those who mourn. 16 Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud, but be willing to associate with people of low position. Do not be conceited. 17 Do not repay anyone evil for evil. Be careful to do what is right in the eyes of everyone. 18 If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

Romans 12:14-18 NIV

EULOGEO: to speak well of; to wish the best for someone

Therefore, I urge you, brothers and sisters, in view of God’s mercy, to offer your bodies as a living sacrifice, holy and pleasing to God—this is your true and proper worship.

Romans 12:1 NIV

Live in harmony with one another. Do not be proud… Do not be conceited.

Romans 12:16 NIV

“By this everyone will know that you are my disciples, if you love one another.”

John 13:35 NIV

Jesus didn’t tell us to be right. He told us to be loving.

Above all, love each other deeply, because love covers over a multitude of sins.

1 Peter 4:8 NIV

Love doesn’t seek to win arguments. Love seeks to protect relationships.

If it is possible, as far as it depends on you, live at peace with everyone.

Romans 12:18 NIV
